I recommend both Eat Stop Eat and The Obesity Code.

I second Eat Stop Eat. The Fast Diet is good too.

Good luck OP. It was the best decision I ever made for my health. I've never felt better.

I actually do 24 on and 24 off. It took me a while to get there but it works for me. I did a complete water/coffee fast for 7 days last year. I also cut out a lot of unhealthy carbs altogether.

The Complete Guide To Fasting by Dr Jason Fung was a good book, but you can get the basics from YouTube for free by just search for Jason Fung.

Also, if you follow a ketogenic diet in parallel, it will maximize results. Lots of free information on the web.

My experience... I lost 50lbs over a 3 month duration. I then took 2 months off, I lost another 3lbs.

I’m starting back now to lose the last 20lbs and to support my wife with a healthier lifestyle. A recent checkup has shown DW is one of the most unhealthy healthy persons, I’ve ever seen. Looks great, but sky high BP, glucose, and triglycerides. Goal is to get her off the new meds, which the doc supported after seeing my results.

I think other posters in other topics have hit the nail on the head, while IF and Keto, or similar, will get you there, it’s the long term, life changes that will keep you there. If you approach in this regard, you willl achieve great results.

Good luck!
