New U9 parent here. What level is each color? I’ve seen gold, red, black, blue. DS was put on Red but I don’t know if that’s best or worst or somewhere in between. I don’t really care just curious. Doesn’t seem like the best players are with him. |
Depends on the club |
Someone did a spread sheet on the varies clubs and their colors. |
Generally the clubs that use colors for team designations do so based on their uniform color. The primary team color being designated to the A team.
Loudoun- Red Arlington- Red McLean- Green etc. This is a general rule of thumb though and clubs can tend to get goofy |
Top team colors -
Bethesda: Blue Potomac: Blue MSI Academy: White |
Basically if you tell us what club you are joining, we can tell you the order of the teams from top to bottom so you can see which team your child is on. |
Here is some info. I can't find the spreadsheet.

I can't find the spreadsheet either. It was pretty good. I think "FPYCParent" posted it but like I said, I can't find it. |
Strange, the Google doc seems to have disappeared. It had been posted in response to someone who said they had recently moved to Dunn Loring. Folks recommended VYS. But that post does not come up in search. |
Ok, must be a search glitch. I manually found the post on p. 2 of this forum:

For Bethesda Boys, Blue is now the 3rd team. They have Pre-Academy 1 and Pre-Academy 2 as their top two teams up until the age when real academy starts. |
Yes. arlington’s Top teams beginning at U12 are DA, Red is B team, white C team, etc. |
My daughter was new to tryouts and this will be her first year on a travel team. There was an article detailing everything and a spreadsheet that were posted a lot last spring. Both were helpful since everything was new to me. I found them linked on the 3rd post here. http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/732979.page |
