Moving to Dunn Loring, my kids (7 yrs and 14 yrs) want to play soccer - help

We are moving to Dunn Loring, VA in August. My kids (7yrs and 14 yrs) love soccer. They are not super-competitive but want to play (have played on low key teams for a while). I tried looking at the Fairfax County Rec website and couldn't find soccer. Can anyone advice on where to register them for soccer? New to the area, new to this.... Thanks!

Op, look at Vienna rec soccer. I think that's the closest low-key soccer solution.

Do Vienna. There's where most of the kids they'll be going to school with will be playing, and they a very solid rec program.

Either VYS for either travel (possibly based on space and try-out) or Rec,, or you could likely still get on a Premier AC travel team. Both use Merrifield fields.

most rec leagues let you request to be on teams with other kids from their school when you sign up.

FPYC also is very close. What elementary school will your kids go to?

Would be great to have this as a sticky post. Every year there are so many new parents who are clueless about clubs, teams and there color ranking.
