I have two small kids an dso prefer something that stays "clean" Would love a fiddle fig but hear it will die without direct sun. Is a palm a good choice? thoughts?
Are fiddle figs that hard to maintain? Will it survive if it's placed in front of a window? Was considering getting one as well.
Following this as well! I’d love to add a large potted house plant our living room but we don’t get much sunlight at all.
Snake plant.
Tall snake plant. You can also add height by putting it in one of those case study planters.
Aspidistra
The snake plant is poisonous, I would not recommend it with young kids who like to mouth everything.
I'm looking for something that is a bit bigger wider than a snake plant (and yes, have small kids so can't be poisoness- they eat all plants thinking they are herbs from the garden!!!)

We have a taller (like 4') palm tree. Toddler DD can't reach the leaves to rip them off and while the trunk is skinny, the leaves cascade out in a pretty nice full shape.
Thank you. are all palm plants the same? I see lots of different names online
Easter lily

bump for any new suggestions?
