A big zz plant. They do just fine in shade. It will be expensive to buy a tall one. And teach your kids not to eat the plants.

Keep in mind the best and easiest air-puirfying plants are also poisonous so if you have pets or kids who will touch it and put fingers in mouth-not good.

Fiddle Leaf Figs are high maintenance A-holes and I had one for a full year that stayed alive...She was such a nightmare to keep happy, but I did keep her happy until she had a nervous breakdown and slowly died.

Snake plants are easy and so cool looking...and poisonous.

Forgot to mention, I am madly in love with my peace lilly and she produces lovely white flowers late spring. She needs water on a somewhat regular basis, but is low maintenance and a major air-purifier.
