Kudos to all trump voters who admit they were wrong

I admire all trump voters who acknowledge what a horrid mistake they made in voting for trump. Welcome to the winning side of history.

Who might those unicorns be? The ones who voted for him are still loud and proud.

I don't like everything he does, but I'm glad I voted for him, and will vote for him again 2020. Fingers crossed he doesn't take too many more mis-steps like this Putin meeting.

His stock has only gone up in my view. His popularity is incredibly high among those who voted for him. And in 2020 he will not have to win a primary, and the Democrats do not have a viable opponent. All to say he will be easily re-elected.

Yep. Spoken like a bot or a true Trump voter.

Not sure what makes you think he won't. It's only gotten worse and worse. He's already talking about a second meeting with Putin. That should give you some clue.

Good luck with that.

I know a couple. But only a couple.

I swear, the mental gymnastics one must do to justify everything must be exhausting

But it's not 100%, and in the purple states, his margin was tiny. Even some farmers, who are the staunch Rs, are turning against him.

Also, given that the number of registered Rs is smaller than Independants or Dems, this doesn't bode well for you. His approval ratings among Independents is in the 30s, and this is the group that Trump needs.

I can think of four trump voters I know:
1. Embarrassed but stubborn, has regrets
2. Angry, wealthy, entitled white man. Would vote for him again tomorrow if he could - delicious libtard tears, and so forth
3. Embarrassed, chagrined. Will probably vote Democratic or abstain
4. Embarrassed but pretty much unrepentant. Is a fairly bright person who got on the crazy right wing train. There is no way off for him.

??? Nothing makes me think he won't, that's why I said fingers crossed. We are still speaking English, right? Fingers crossed is still a common phrase in contemporary use, isn't it?

+1
Look on this thread with PP pretending that there’s a chance that TRE45ON in Helsinki was a one-off.

It sure is, but in this situation it’s like saying, “fingers crossed there isn’t traffic on 66” or “fingers crossed I hope it isn’t hot this summer” or “fingers crossed I hope Air and Space is quiet this afternoon.”

Yeah, that doesn't speak very highly of those who voted for him. Sorry. He is an unmitigated disaster in every respect. Not sure why you're enjoying inflation, stagnant wages, higher health care premiums and drug prices, MUCH lowered respect around the world, the anger of our allies, paying for your beloved wall as well as all his golf games, our debased civil discourse, diplomatic and intelligence communities awash in chaos that makes us far less safe because they're too busy putting out fires or are being decimated in terms of staff to be paying as much attention to and dealing with threats as they should be, the unprecedented turnover rate in his administration, his and his cronies' utter lack of ethics, and his obvious disbelief in the idea that America is truly special, not in terms of our economic power,, which is the only thing Trump seems to care about (as regards his own private bank accounts), but in terms of our ideals. We certainly have never always reached those ideals or followed them, but they've always been there as a beacon for us to strive for in dark times, and he doesn't even care about them. Not one whit.
