Kudos to all trump voters who admit they were wrong

But it's not 100%, and in the purple states, his margin was tiny. Even some farmers, who are the staunch Rs, are turning against him.

Also, given that the number of registered Rs is smaller than Independants or Dems, this doesn't bode well for you. His approval ratings among Independents is in the 30s, and this is the group that Trump needs.

The polls are not reliable. Have you not learned anything?! And there are many who do not like him, but will vote for him all the same, just like last time. Especially if the Dems are stupid enough to run Hillary again, which is looking more likely by the day.

You don't understand basics of polling or stats. They were bang on target that Hillary will by 2% which she did. The late Email play by Comey wasn't fully added up into the polls.

Trump hasn't even begun his rallys. They start in September in swing states and will focus on illegal immigration.

There will be leftist violence after this bitter defeat.

lol.. I don't think so. It was small to start with, and got smaller.

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/01/11/us/politics/trump-approval.html

And Detroit can't get more than 14 to 20% registered voters to vote (per your link). Trump's margin of victory in MI was .23%. So, I don't think Detroit is going to make/break Trump. And remember what the black women voters in AL were able to accomplish.

And, OP - the only one on “the winning side of history” here is Trump. Last I looked - Hillary is not sitting in the oval office.

I predict history will not be kind to Trump and Trumpsters.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Conservatives are awfully nearsighted.

History is a long-range game. And trump will absolutely be on the losing side of it, same as Nixon. Same as all the other autocrats, despots, dictators, strongmen, and anti-democratic leaders throughout modern history.

Or name a SINGLE strongman leader of the past 200 years with autocratic/dictatorial tendencies like trump, someone who hated the free press, palled around with murderous dictators (a la Putin and Kim Jong Un), was vulgar and coarse and lied as much as trump, who openly embraced nepotism, who didn't believe in the rule of law as regards himself or his family and administration, whom we all look up to today as a great and admirable hero.

ONE? You can't. Not a single one.

I understand why people voted for Trump and still support him. It’s just like the OJ and Cosby supporters who refused to see the truth despite a mountain of evidence.

What? Trump started holding “rallys” right after the inauguration.

WRONG. Not supported by data at all. He has lost support across the board in almost all the states. Considering he lost the election by 3 million votes,it doesn't bode well at all.

https://morningconsult.com/tracking-trump/

WRONG. He didn’t lose the election, and those 3 million popular votes don’t matter in our electoral system. As long as he holds places like PA, MI, and WI, he’ll do fine. And he’s much better poised to win those states in 2020 than he was when he won them in 2016.

Do you realize the GOP has won the popular vote just once since 1988(and that too just by one state)? Do you really think this tenuous Slavery era EC win can continue? THE GOP DOESN'T HAVE VOTERS behind it. period. Trump just drove them deep into the corner. Ignore all you want but a party that can't win popular vote doesn't have a majority behind it. But keep living in denial.

You make too much sense for the conned and in denial, brain dead trumpers to make any sense of what you said.

In fact, Trump’s supporters here are more entrenched and satisfied with his performance.

I believe that if you live in DC, you will not have a true accounting of Trump’s support nationwide, sorry.

Most trump voters who don't support him don't tell they voted for trump in the first place. They will simply not show up in 2020 or vote against Trump.

How do you know this?

Because look at the approval that has dropped in all states and will never get above 43% no matter what. The GOP has lost vote share in every single election since 2016. EVERY SINGLE ONE. And lost elections in WI, PA, MI and heck even Alabama. You are in denial.

Like his accomplishments since he has been in office.

Comey may say policy doesn't matter, but, to me, it does. I do not feel I was wrong--considering the alternative candidate(s).

Is tax cut for the rich the policy you like? Coz thats all he has done and that has increased debt to over 100% of GDP. Nominating so called conservative judges who eventually go liberal isn't much of a policy win. What else? He has harassed minorities and thats gonna hurt for a man who lost by 3 million coz he needs more votes not fewer.

The backbone of the GOP is dying. That is why they have to find a boogeyman so that they can find something to put the fear in people to vote for them.

Data doesn't lie.

On uneducated white male voters -

According to that analysis, whites without a college degree cast slightly more than 42 percent of the national vote last year. That was down from more than 44 percent in 2012 and, as Teixeira noted, continued a long-term retrenchment: Census figures have found the share of the vote cast by those Americans has declined in each presidential election since 1992, when it stood at 61 percent.

Similar thing for white Evangelicals - they are a dying breed, too.

The electoral college wins the presidency. We cannot deny that truth.
