I just wanted to post to the people that were telling me I was wrong about Pulisic's ability:

Definitely. Vindication feels great!

I got tired of dopes on this Board sh*tting on him. Granted, they probably have never watched Dortmund play.

Anyone that needs vindication from people on an anonymous message board, and feels better because of it...wow, I don't even know what to say.

No one said he wasn't good. People just said that he is not at the level of the biggest stars in the game and would not be needed at Real Madrid or Barcelona at this time when they have other great young players. He is listed as the 8th U21 which is already great but when you start adding 22, 23, 24, 25 year old players which is his direct competition, his number will drop drastically. On that list Mbappe would crack the overall top 20 (maybe 10) list and Jesus the top 30. Rashford should not be ahead of Jesus. America's best player, absolutely. Real Madrid and Barcelona level? Not yet, let's see how he develops.

#8 in the WORLD of U21. Watch German news and see what they think of him. Answer: very highly. Signed, US Expat in Germany

If you are listed in the top 10 with Rashford, Jesus, Mbappe and co. and at a $72 million rate, I think you are pretty f*cking good. What more do you want for a 19-year old?

Look, he is outstanding no doubt about it. Just to make it to his current level is very impressive. In the other post people were making it seem like he was ready for Real Madrid or Barcelona level teams. He isn't. He is an outstanding young player. I don't need to just watch German news to know he is very good, I watch his games and follow many other multi national soccer media outlets that think highly of him and most will tell you that the best place for him right now is at Dortmund. I have a global perspective of the game, not just what I read on local news or when the world cup comes around. The argument was that he was not at the level of an elite player/team yet. The key word in my statement is yet. He could certainly develop into that.

You are completely jumping the gun. The statement says that he is one of the top 10 most highly valued players U21 in the entire world. Nowhere is stated that he should immediately leave Dortmund, nor did pp suggest that. He and his family have repeatedly sung the praises of Dortmund and credit them for where he is today. He is still developing there AND, contrary to your knowledge, many Clubs around the World have cited keen interest in him--including Liverpool. Keen interest in him does not indicate in any way, shape or form that he has keen interest in THEM right now.

What does it matter? He was not developed in the states and he lucked out with his citizenship. There are no others in the pipeline and no one can follow a path like his. He is a nice player for the major Europeans leagues. He is not someone you build a major club around. We did not make the World Cup with him playing....so what does it matter?

He’s absolutely not at the level of Madrid or Barcelona. What’s wrong with Dortmund? He’s 19, let him develop.

I played with one of his parents in college. They are great people and he is a great kid. I’m glad the first American player to reach these heights is such a good, hard-working, modest kid that is a good role model for young players.

Since we watch a lot of premier league in our house, we are hoping he gets scooped up for a PL team! too bad for him especially that US didn't qualify for WC.
