This thread came about from one of the other threads where the claim was made that he was set to join an elite club and that he was at a higher level than Ronaldo because he had a couple more Champions League game by 19. He is not at that level. What are you talking about contrary to my knowledge. As I mentioned he is rated in other places but from a development perspective it's still best for him to stay at dortmund 1 maybe 2 more years. Man U also showed interest and so do other bigger clubs. It's their job to be interested in everyone that is up and coming and that's why they have large scouting departments. He is a player to watch absolutely. |
| 2 goals against Liverpool this week for our boy.... |
For a 3-1 win. |
And he hugged a kid that ran onto the field to prevent him from being forcibly dragged off by stewards .

Saw the penalty kick and his 2nd goal was amazing. He had several other close calls. Without his 2 goals it would have been a draw. I read they wanted him as Man of the Match, but since the Cup is sponsored by Heineken they couldn't use anyone under 21. Pulisic is still just 19. To the guy who keeps arguing with me that Big Clubs don't want him yet---directly from Klopp's mouth: Previewing the meeting with his former club, Klopp admitted he was a big fan of Pulisic, whom he tried to sign for Liverpool in August 2016, and the coach was equally impressed after the match. "I didn't see anything new, just that he's a bit older and has new tattoos!" Klopp said of the 19-year-old postmatch on Sunday. "He's a fantastic skilled boy, and it's not a surprise to see. "He's a smart player, and unfortunately the USA needs more of these players. He alone cannot do it all. "Don't put too much pressure on the boy, hopefully you can have a few more of them and then play very successful soccer in the future. If Belgium and Iceland can go to a World Cup then so can the USA. I think he'll be fine." The announcers call him the "master of a finisher". Here's the link with video of his 2 goals: http://www.espn.com/soccer/international-champions-cup/story/3571915/livepools-jurgen-klopp-warns-us-not-to-pile-pressure-on-christian-pulisic |
| Klopp also agreed that in this time and place he's in a really good Club. I don't think anywhere would allow him to develop and give him the opportunity to premier as young as he did for the First team as Dortmund. Given his trajectory and how he's progressed--I do agree he is the best place currently. |
First of all, he’s already at a Big Club. Secondly, Klopp praised him, he didn’t make an offer for him. Thirdly, Liverpool is still not one of the elite clubs at present like Real, Barcelona, Bayern or Juve. I love Pulisic, but the point still stands. Let him develop. He’s tearing up the ICC, after all... |
