| Looking for a smallish mid-size SUV, AWD, luxury but no need to be over the top, comfortable, all the safety stuff. Any thoughts from personal experience? Anything I'm missing? |

| May not be as "luxury" as you want in terms of brand name, but we have a Subaru Outback with the highest trim level that was offered for the year we purchased (2015) and we have been very happy with it - beautiful leather seats, great eyesight technology, zero maintenance issues. |

love my xc60. dh has rdx which is nice but don't like as much. people also love the audi.
when i was looking x3 was like 10k more for similar package. |

| Take a look at the 2018 VW Tiguan. We were deciding between the Q5, Xc60, and Tiguan and opted for the Tiguan. Definitely not luxury, but the SEL has enough of the features, plus it has a third row despite feeling pretty compact. We love it. |

They don't make this anymore. The GLC 300 is a nice car in the class you are looking at though. I also like the Q5. |
