Came across this today. What kind of a role model is he riding in a moving minivan without a seatbelt? C'mon Braband! Kids are watching!

| Email him. A hundred bucks says he will respond and promise not to do that again. I’m serious. |
| He wasn’t breaking the law, get over it. |
Still ultra-stupid. |
| Breaking rules seem to be a common denominator in FCPS adm |
He wasn’t breaking any rules. Seat belts in rear seats are only required under 18. |
| But it is stupid not to wear a suit belt . |
|
Seatbelts are required in Virginia no matter where you are sitting.

Reread the answer to the first question. Everyone has to wear a belt up front. Only under 18 in the back. |
| If you're sitting in the front it's best to ask the people behind you to put their belt on - or you might find their dentures in your skull when they rocket into you at 40 mph in a crash. Just sayin' |
| C'mon people, they were doing a carpool karaoke-style outing in the parking lot and a neighborhood street. If he'd been wearing a seatbelt, he would have had to sit much further back in the seat and the audio wouldn't have been able to pick him up well enough. Lighten up, people. |
| Whatever his message was, it was lost on OP. And the rest of us, too. Thanks OP. (I'm sorry you're unhappy.) |
| Get over it, OP. It was a funny video and they were going slow in the parking lot of the school. Stop looking for issues everywhere. |
| It was actually a nice little video they did together, and a good bit of outreach for the administration to the community. Unfortunately people like OP discourage them from continuing to do such things when every moment will be under scrutiny looking for something to criticize. |

It also looks like it was raining that day. Yet there's no indication Dr. Brabrand was carrying an umbrella. What a terrible example he's setting for our wet kids.
(yes, this is tongue-in-cheek). |
