| So...did Tennessee ignore a 15 year long child sex abuse practice on its campus? I mean, because everyone does it, right? I guess we should call for an investigation there. Absurd. Didn’t happen, and no one who isn’t blindly partisan would make such a ridiculous assertion. Big Ten has a black eye and while I don’t see how it’s somehow indicative of a conference sickness it has now happened on three Big Ten campuses and that’s a terrible look. |

Haven't been keeping up. Is it sports related?
Id' be shocked if it wasn't. I want to a powerhouse sports university and all of the football players, men's basketball players, and baseball players were royalty. There's an entire team dedicated to just "fixing" the problems they create before they become public knowledge. My friend had the unfortunate experience of meeting this team of fixers. She was raped by one of the football players, but this was before sexual assault was taken as seriously as now. It was during the "she was wearing a short skirt and drunk so she was asking for it" time when the fault fell on the woman. Anyway, the "fixers" basically convinced her it would be he said/she said and such a long process that by the time it went to court he'd be playing in the NFL and she'd just be known as "that girl who cried rape." She got a payout in the form of a scholarship. She couldn't talk about it, but all of a sudden she didn't have to work to buy her books and didn't worry about student loans that were to come. |
