| Clueless mother of the year here taking 3 12 yr old boys Monday night (a begged-for bday gift for DS). Any tips to getting in and out? Should we plan to arrive early? Or is late better and miss the opener? Ideas how I can find what time the main act actually takes the stage and what time it’s over? I assume we’ll leave before the encore. Also, DH has offered to drive and wait for us — is it a no brainer to take him up on that? So many questions .... Thanks! |
| Buy the upgraded parking option. It will be much easier to get out. |

Buy the $40 premium parking. Leave earlier to get there than you think you should. If you cut too close you'll spend hours trying to get into the lot.
The show will end at 11. They all do at JLL. My guess is ID will go on around 9:30. The food options inside are horrendous and super expensive. Stop at a place nearby and get some food ahead of time and eat in the lot. There's a Chipotle and a few places nearby. |
| Parking is fine. Just plan to take a while on the way out. Bring water and snacks. Stay the entire thing. Go to the jiffy lube website and it lists everything. No need to go early. |
| Premium parking is sold out as far as I can tell. I looked a few days ago and didn’t see any parking only passes on reseller sites. |
| Oh yeah, the premium parking is a hanging lanyard they mail to you. Can't get last minute. I was just there last week. |
| Any insights to a drop-off/pick up? I went out a few years ago to pick up teens and all the roads near JLL were one way (against me) to better clear the lot. I had to wait about half a mile down the road. |
That is still the case. |
Is there a waiting lot of some kind? Or is that just called the parking lot? |

Buy the premiere parking. Look now to see if you can still buy online and if not, get there early to buy as you drive in (if still available). At the venue it's cash only, no cc.
If you buy the parking you can 100% stay through the encore because when exiting, the parking attendants hold the traffic when a VIP parking car comes to exit. It's amazing! I've been to tons of shows there and always buy the VIP parking. I've never spent more than 10 mins. exiting Jiffy Lube after a show because of the parking. Very much worth it. Make sure the boys you're taking have enough $$ for water. It's going to be HOT tomorrow and still at dangerous heat levels at night. I don't see how your husband can possibly wait it out, but if he does, brave man! I just took my niece and her BFF to JLL last month for a show and the other girl's mom did not send her with enough $$ and it was only in the 80s for that show. Poor kid ran out of $$ for food and water soon after we arrived and was trying to tough it out until I forced her to take $$ from me. Are you under the pavilion or lawn seats? The covered seats do have huge ceiling fans that put out a bit of air but not enough to be cool. |
| I am pretty sure they are Uber pick up points now which might work for you. But not surprisingly, it seems impossible to confirm this on their site. |
| You will not get close for pick up. They have everything blocked off and people routed in different directions. I would not pay the parking fee. Last week we got out in 10 minutes but it is usually 30. We were chilly so bring a sweatshirt. Bring in water and snacks. |

Set times are posted now:
https://www.livenation.com/venues/14407/jiffy-lube-live ID goes on at 8:15. |
Thanks! I saw this 5 times before I could find the start time for ID. DS thought the lawn would be very cool but I bought covered seats. Premier parking and most of the concert tix are sold out. Still deciding what time we should plan to arrive. It will be hot for sure. |
8:15 seems early. Every concert I’ve been to ends at 11. I doubt ID plays for 2:45. |
