Iran was training and funding Hamas. Same with Hezbollah and the Houthis. This is widely acknowledged.

I’m not trying to be facetious here but you do realize there’s a blockade on Gaza? People in Gaza have never traveled outside of the 25 mile strip. The same 25 miles Israel has struggled to conquer thus far yet they think they can conquer Iran-a larger land mass than all of the Middle East and all of Western Europe with a population to match.

If there is any training at all, it’s by way of IDF unintentionally giving Hamas information. Apparently, the Israeli military computers were hacked 700 hundred times from 2021-2023 and their weapons depots were robbed multiple times by unknown entities. Some of the phishing scams included dating apps/AI generated women that Hamas used to get intel from soldiers.

Israel has much bigger problems than they advertise related to their adversary. The cyber warfare from Hamas probably has a stronger link to China than Iran but of course, their accurate intel points to only Iran. Netanyahu has run the country via single minded obsession with Iran only and he’s ignored all other possibilities or threats.

There was a time before 10/7 where American Jews and young people in Israel largely disliked Netanyahu to the point that the army wanted to quit if he didn’t step down from power. 10/7 came in and rescued him just in time..
