Things that make you irrationally angry

I know that most people use this, but I feel irrationally angry when people post "LOL"
I see it and immediately think they have the maturity of elementary school aged little girls.

These are completely different. One is a signal that I’m joking or that I’ve appreciated your joke. Since we are online, you can’t use laughter or a smile. The second is just a weird and kind of rude command.

BMWs
Of course there are exceptions, but if there is ever a jerk of a driver, 85% of the time they are driving a BMW

Pedestrians who stop walking to check their phones. Pedestrians who walk to the top of subway stairs, stop the flow of people to check their phones. Pedestrians crossing the street looking at their phones. Pay attention to your surroundings!

I’m a pretty laid back person, but for some reason I get irrationally annoyed in the grocery by people that just stand there looking at all the pasta sauces, or blocking the whole banana display while they inspect each bunch.

To be clear- I don’t do anything about it outwardly, it’s all in my head. And I know it’s irrational because they’re just doing their shopping. Am I alone in this?

You should read the thread on Dogs in Pets forum. Now those people are truly annoyed.

I get the best chuckle while at Costco when I see racists like you annoyed with the simplest things.

OP here, so funny to see this revived. I have a new one- people with no hiking etiquette. I was hiking in Shenandoah recently and moved over to my right to let a woman and her dog pass, and she asked me to move to the other side of the trail for them to pass me because her dog likes that side of the trail. There was also a dropoff on the left side that I was not happy to hug.

You should probably order groceries online and pick them up. This is not a big deal and you're not as laid back as you think.

I guess it's rational but I'm getting more and more impatient with the absolute crap way people do their jobs.

Too many times in a day, no matter the encounter, I say "If I turned in work like that I'd be fired" "If I spread misinformation like that I'd be fired" "If I did customer service like that I'd be fired". It's really like people don't care (they don't) and there's no alternative (no competition)- there isn't.
