| I think its weird. We live in a neighborhood with a lot of trees. After she blows every leaf of her lawn, she blows our street, blowing leaves onto peoples lawns. I am assuming she does this her vehicles and her guest's vehicles don't "track" leaves into her driveway at the end of the street. What a freak! |
|
Are you counting the leaves? Keeping score? Really, WHAT do you care? I despise nosy neighbors, myself. |
| She blows leaves...off of our street...onto our lawn. She is outside with that damn blower for hours. It's crazy and annoying. |
|
wow sorry about the typos.
1) off not of her lawn 2)"onto OTHER people'S lawns" 3)"...she does this SO her vehicles..." I need a nap. Too bad there's a lunatic with a leaf blower outside my house. |
| Nap sounds like a good idea. Things might seem better then. |

He must be related to the guy who HAS to use his woodchipper on the weekends or weeknights when we're trying to get our kids to bed. Or another guy we know, too old to be driving around a REALLY, REALLY loud kit car and insisting on driving up and down our street all hours. It sounds like hell, and there is NO good time to hear it. He has NO idea he's the only one on the planet that appreciates the obnoxious thing. He built a garage for it. Holy crap! Grow up! |
| This is seriously antisocial behavior. Adds a whole new dimension to the phrase "not in my backyard." |
| Totally weird...although I wondered the other day, if someone had yet invented a leaf vacuum? I think that would be handier (with bag attached) so you could just hoover up your leaves, pull the debris bag off and put it on the curb? |
|
She blows leaves OFF off the street?? And ONTO her neighbors' lawns?? That's loco. I mean, among other reasons, leaf-blowers are wildly unpleasant (loud, stinky) and I can't imagine wanting to use one at all, let alone take on extra territory...
Have you asked her nicely to stop? "Hi Jean! Your lawn looks so great. I noticed, though, when you leaf-blow the street, you're actually blowing leaves onto MY lawn. Do you think you could maybe stick to your own lawn?" |
|
I also recommend politely asking her not to put stuff on your lawn. You don't have to speak for the rest of the street.
I guess she really, really likes leaf-blowing. |
Our leafblower is also a vacuum. You just take off the tube attachment and attach the bag to the other end. I usually use it as a vacuum rather than a blower. |
|
My neighbor blows the leaves off our entire sidewalk at least once a week - she goes all the way down the street, blowing leaves for everyone.
She's a little crazy, but more neighborly than OP's neighbor, that's for sure! |
Yes, we have one. |
Oh my gosh! I had no idea you could actually do that...now I want one .

If you have a lot of leaves to move, the vacuum slows things down. You have to empty the bag constantly and it takes forever to get a pile up. The good thing about the vacuum is that is crushes up the leaves, so more fit into a lawn bag.
What does the neighbor do with the leaves on her lawn? Does she bag them or put those on other people's lawns? That is a little strange. |
