At what age do boys start to get crushes?

| Just curious. I don't, as a girl, remember crushes until 6th or 7th grade. But my 5th grade boy has had several girls crush on him already. He is completely disturbed by it all. I figure, when he starts getting those feelings himself, he will have a little more empathy. |

Me too. If not earlier. My DS is 10, no crushes yet as far as I know. DH claims he was in middle school when he had his first crush. |
