Why do charter parents like this attitude? It just means that everything's kept a secret until all heck breaks loose. Is that really what you want? There is no meaningful oversight from DCPCSB, they are content to let schools fail.

I'm just surprised that charter parents put up with all the secrecy. It's your school, people. Don't you want to head off problems before they become giant sh*tshows?

People want free education. And as long as their kids are doing OK, they will turn a blind eye to the sh*tshow. Look at the Shining Stars thread. People are still clamoring to get into that school even though it's clear something is not quite right there
