Brianne Nadeau features Kent Boese supporter in her latest mailer

This is what happens when you use black people as a photo prop! The lady in the photo is Shawn High, President of the Park Morton Resident Council. Park Morton is the public housing complex that Kent Boese has championed for development. She's such a big Kent supporter that she made a video endorsement.

Did Nadeau ask because they look pretty chummy in the photo?

Tweet from Shawn High
"I was a fan once. But now that she gets pissy w/ me about what I post, & demands that I take it down off my page, I reversed my decision."

Seems that Brianne has been trying to censor Shawn. The photos were taken 6-12 months ago. Like everything else, Brianne Nadeau is only there for the photo op.

So Brianne didn't even ask if she could feature the picture of a individual who is no longer a supporter?

Bad look. Wonder why she used that picture?

Regardless of the picture, Kent is a historic preservation wacko. It's one thing to advocate for historic preservation of your own home, or ever your own neighborhood. It is a whole different matter for him to try to stymie progress across the rest of the city.

NO THANKS!

Did he stop you from building an ugly ass pop-up? GOOD!

This is true - he's filed some really outrageous applications across the city like this one:

https://anc3e.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/HPRB-Application-for-Deisgnation-of-Harrison-St-Pepco-Substation.pdf

And despite being an ANC commissioner he couldn't be bothered to show up when this ANC took this up to defend the application.

Have you been to the Pepco Capital Grid projects meetings? I have. Neighbors are very happy that he filed these... because they asked him to. No one wants a power substation in their neighborhood that looks like it belongs in a warehouse district - which is what Pepco would have done without intervention. Thanks to Boese, both neighbors and Pepco are happy with how the project looks.

You liked to the Friendship Heights substation. Kent Boese is the ANC Commissioner in Park View. Why in the world would he attend one for Friendship Heights?!

Not true. he has been a real advocate for additional developent along GA avenue. he has not even tried to turn Park View (his own neighborhood) into a historic district either. he actually understands development. Unlike Brianne who just wants as much low income housing as possible and then tons of community meetings to do nothing.

Nonsense. By "neighbors" you mean the "Tenley Historical Society," which is a NIMBY group, plain and simple.

Typical behavior from Brianne Nadeau. She shows up for the photo op and couldn't a rat's ass afterward. She has no idea who her constituents are.

He might attend the meeting because he was the one who filed the Historic Preservation Application? As an ANC Commissioner you think he'd respect the process and have the guts to appear and defend it?

BTW not a single person at the meeting spoke up in favor of the application and it was resoundingly rejected by the preservation board, a fate that this candidate suffered again tonight.
