Have you been to the Pepco Capital Grid projects meetings? I have. Neighbors are very happy that he filed these... because they asked him to. No one wants a power substation in their neighborhood that looks like it belongs in a warehouse district - which is what Pepco would have done without intervention. Thanks to Boese, both neighbors and Pepco are happy with how the project looks.

He might attend the meeting because he was the one who filed the Historic Preservation Application?  As an ANC Commissioner you think he'd respect the process and have the guts to appear and defend it?

BTW not a single person at the meeting spoke up in favor of the application and it was resoundingly rejected by the preservation board, a fate that this candidate suffered again tonight.[/quote]
