What shoe size is your third grader?

My 9 year old wears size 13 little kids. His feet just don't seem to grow much. He's right around average height. What size shoes do most kids his age wear? His dad and I are both tall with proportionally large feet.

My girl just hit a size 1! And she’s almost 10! She is also average height. Her feet have always seemed to grow slowly.

I have a 3rd grade boy who is on the shorter side (I think 30th %tile in height the last well visit). He turns 9 in August and wear size 3. I feel his dad and I have average-ish (??) height and sized feet (5'5, size 8 womens, and 5'9, size 9.5 mens respectively).

My 6.5 year old wears size 13. He is 80th %tile in height, last well visit.

My 6 year old wears 1.5 youth. His giant feet are going to bankrupt us.

That's a pretty small foot. The average would be about a size 4 or 5. Some kids that age will be approaching a mens size 6-7 and others will still be around a 13-1. I work at a kids shoe store.

My DD is finishing third grade and wears a size 1.5. I am a 6.5 so I think she’ll wind up somewhere around that size.

My third grade boy is 50 percent for height and wears a size 2.

These numbers surprise me. My kid is little - just turned 7 and about 48 inches tall - and wears a 13.5 or 1. I don't get the others with kids this age saying 13ish is big - I think most of my kid's friends' are well into the 'real sizes (1 and above).

(obv these are 1st graders not 3rd!)

My 6 year old wears a size 3 shoe. My 8 year old wears a size 5. They are both in the 90s for height percentile.

He's very tall. Off the growth chart tall.

His feet are way bigger than all his friends so clearly he's on the upper end of the range.
