Finding My Own Posts?

Anonymous
Hi, Jeff,

I'd like to find a post that I started a couple of months ago, just to see if there've been additional responses and to update the situation (with good news).

Unfortunately, I cannot remember how I titled it, which Forum I used, key words, etc.,. I was in a pretty bad space when I wrote and wasn't able to use DCUM for a while.

Is there a way to search for my 'own' posts or some other way to track it? I posted as 'anonymous.'

TIA

I found two threads that you started since the end of January. One is about iPhone apps, so I doubt that is the one for which you are looking. This is the other one:

But, that may not be old enough to be the one that you describe.

I vote that the short answer is NO. You can only track your posts if you use a log-in.

Having said that, look for your post in the most logical forum - the others who post here will have reported it to Jeff asking him to move it if you posted about your dog in the elementary children forum for example - and then do a search using key words that are unique to your post.

If that search fails you can also do a Google search which sometimes has worked for me - do "DCUM dog buckley" or whatever keywords make sense and see if it comes up that way.

Thank you so much!

Just adding to this thread that depending on your browser settings, you can also search your computer browser’s history for your keywords in your thread too. I know that you can do this easily with Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
