| keep tabs on the state websites. You won't be able to get one until a non-mist version is out, toward the end of the month. expectant moms can't take the flumist version because it's a live virus. |

| The WP said today that the first few weeks will be the nasal-type - they are a live virus, so unfortunately pregnant women cannot get them. It said the shot would be available in this area in a few more weeks. I think it depends on the state - Va is getting them later, MD earlier... |

| A story on NPR this morning basically confirmed what the PP said -- 36,000 doses have been delivered to DC (or will be this week; can't remember exact details). All are nasal spray. All are allocated for health care workers. |
