It looks like we need to put serious money into our 11 year old V50 Volvo. Considering going for a new car, and looking for options. We are a family of 4, and we do not need an SUV. Are people generally happy with their Honda CRVs, Subaru Outbacks?
We live in the burbs and do not travel very often, our millage is limited to the every day commute in the area, and occasional outings outside of our area. TIA |

We just test drove the Mazda CX5. We've never owned a Mazda, so we went in with a neutral opinion and very little knowledge. We came out completely blown away by the quality of the vehicle, the interior space, how quiet it was, the "get up and go" once we got on the highway and the way the front dash and controls are organized and laid-out.
It's also an attractive SUV with nice lines. |

| Subaru Forester is great! |
| We love our Kia Niro. It's a much, much more environmentally friendly choice than the other options that have been mentioned. It's also surprisingly nice. |
| We love our Lexus ES300 hybrid. |
| Love our Outback |
| I suppose I’m the first one to recommend a minivan I have a Sienna and I love it. We are also a family of four. It has been wonderful for trips, carpooling, throwing bikes in and so on. I will eventually get another car and I’ve already decided that I will replace this van with another van. However I have no idea when that will occur as my van is already 15 years old and shows no sign of deteriorating. |

+1. We bought a CRV last year and it’s great. Lots of safety features. |
