ECNL moving to school year part 2

Nobody is saying that.

Your delusion is just kicking into overdrive to keep the plates spinning in your head.

Aug birthdays will play with their grade in school and top teams this fall will all be the same grade in school.

Nice bluster to push away the reality of how wrong you are.

He also posts a ton so people might miss how some are seeing misaligned kids show up consistently at practices for younger teams. More reality he chooses to ignore.

No they're not and you post more than anyone trying to convince parents to play their kids down. Its pathetic.

Playing on age is not playing down. It's the default. And this is a club that's a similar level to FC Copa.

It's the clubs themselves who are doing this. Here's another one, in Indiana. Did a whole video. You can play with an older grade as an exception. So, the default at this club is to play on age. From around the 10-11 min mark.

"And so one of the exceptions we're making is that if your child has been placed in an advanced school grade above what is their age group, we will allow that player to try out with that advanced school grade. And so let's say they everyone they they started school early and they're in seventh grade, but their age group would put them in sixth grade. We would allow the player to try out with the seventh grade age group. It doesn't guarantee a team placement, but if the parent and
the player would so choose, we we'd be more than happy to have them be able to be around their peers."

And the truth comes out.

You just want to play your kid down against younger players.

Enroll your kid at a private school they'll love it if you hold them back. Its more money for them. You can fight all the other play downers for who can have the oldest freshman.

You are seriously delusional.

Union FC literally said players that are a grade up in school from where their age group would typically place them in SY are free to try out with that grade level team.

Union FC has some kind of agenda to make September birthdays the oldest?

I agree with what other people are saying you really are crazy.

Pay attention, not forcing grade year, letting kids play with friends in upper age group on lower teams.

"We would allow the player to try out with the seventh grade age group."

Ahhh...

No way would a soccer coach of an 8th grade team just happen to not roster any 9th grade players playing down who might participate in High School soccer for 3 months during the season.

1. Switch to new birth dates
2. All players will play with their appropriate age category
3. August birthday kids can stay up if they’re a year ahead in school
4. Spring practice will be aligned with the appropriate school year
5. The kids will be sorted to the appropriate level in order to be as competitive as possible as a club
6. The team your kid is asked to train with is the team the club assumes he will be placed with next season, but they will evaluate levels
Another nobody forced to play on grade club but some kids are allowed to play up on non-top teams with friends. Nice that clubs are being accommodating to letting some kids playing with their grade even if it is just for collecting a few more dollars. Doubt it lasts though as clubs don't record and can't document kid's school grades and teams want to win by having older players in age groups not younger ones.

All these forced play up people are super Karens trying to play games to keep kids from competing.

F that.

About 25 kids on a roster. Coaches in this situation would take an older kid for half a season just to make practice more tolerable and be able to spread around minutes better for a month or so. Not a problem.
