If you have a nanny in DC, what is your HHI?

Anonymous
I have a newborn and am curious about the cost of a nanny and what household income is needed to support it. If you live in DC and have a nanny (and pay for taxes, etc.), what is your HHI, and how many hours does nanny work for what hourly rate or yearly salary? I'm genuinely curious how so many people fit nannies into the family budget.

500k. We just got one for our second child. The all-in cost is about $4500 which blows my mind but I guess we can afford it (and so far it’s awesome).

So 54k/year? My daycare for one kid is ~28k, so a nanny might be the best option if we have 2 kids. Does your nanny watch both kids?

Does this include all nanny costs?
