It took exactly one week from the deadline last year. So if they follow the same timing, results will be emailed this Friday. |

| Yes, Friday, May 11th. Last year the results were mailed May 12th, with a deadline of May 5th. |

| Per last years history from the cut off date to announcing the actual results I also expected to hear something by today, Friday 11 May but didn’t get an email or anything in the mail. |

| It may be taking longer this year because it is the first year of the "weighted" lottery. Hopefully results will be out soon. |

I just re-read the instructions and they said we would need an MCPS ID number by the 18th, which is several days before the schools have kindergarten orientation.
Not that we're counting on a spot, but that does suggest they thought the results would be out by the end of this week, although I don't know what happens if they draw your number and you haven't received an ID number yet. |

What factors are included in the weighted lottery besides local and regional location? What factor is weighted the most? Thanks. |
