I need a part-time job making about $2000 per month

Anonymous
I am a relatively well-paid government attorney with regular hours. My wife and I are separating and I am going to need to come up with about $2000 per month extra for the forseeable future. I am open to almost anything that would allow me to make money during nights and weekends. Unfortunately, I am conflicted out of most types of law. I would love to hear some creative ideas.

Uber - I don't see anything else coming even close.

Do you have any other skills?

There was just an article in the ABA's online journal today about attorneys' side hustles. The side hustles featured in the article included cattle rancher, romance novelist, food/grocery delivery and fashion blogger. Just to give you some ideas.

Can you teach LSAT or SAT test prep?

Yeah that's going to be tough. I would suggest tutoring also- but beyond just LSAT. Perhaps another subject area that you are good at? Do you speak any other languages? Translation work and tutoring can also bring in money. What about being a test proctor? Proctor U and similar online testing companies. I used to do test proctoring a long time ago and it would be weekend work and usually paid between $200-400 per test, although it was not always steady work unless you go in good with someone.

Did you get the permission? DH got a permission to open his own business, but there is no conflict issue. I would think you as a lawyer would be best qualified to know which part time job would work. I have a friend who is a lawyer and she teacher part time, I don't know where, probably community college.
