Men we know can be pigs, and act out their so-called manliness is some inappropriate and bizarre ways. But frequently what we see is young women, rather than rejecting this they play along.
What is the message girls send to males when they entertain this sort of thing? (Save time and fast-forward to the 21-second mark.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_ubW3Wn34k |
| Ah yes, everything is the woman's fault, as usual. |
Why do mothers spoil their sons rotten??? This phenomen has me puzzled, as these same women complain about their self-centered rude husbands. |

| Yes, to OP's thread question. Definitely. |
| Why aren't mothers expecting good behavior? |
| We also need to reinforce good behavior between and among girls. Soe really egregious examples of the wrong kind of behavior on DCUM. |
Who's "we", and why are "we" posting links to Infowars? |
| No, we are not teaching our daughters to reinforce bad behavior in men. We are failing to teach them that they deserve better than some men treat them. |
| I'm more upset at moms with shitty husbands who aren't training their sons to be better. The disconnect is mind blowing. |
Exactly. Infowars is criminally insane. Think Sandy Hook and Comet Pizza conspiracies. Sick, sick, sick. |
Exactly. Start teaching your boys to be better. |
| "We" don't. |
What are *you* doing? |

I think too many mothers allow their sons to behave in a way they wouldn’t allow their daughters to under the guise of “Boys will be boys”.
I think many women baby their sons and constantly excuse their problematic, aggressive and sexist behavior from a young age. So I do hold mothers and fathers accountable, but not daughters. I’m not raising my daughter to become a good example towards men. Her purpose is to make the best of herself, not make some boy a better man. |
