Are we teaching our daughters to reinforce bad behavior in men?

I'm teaching my daughters? that they are as tough as any man. I am. They learn by watching. As a big, burly man once told me when I had a police escort while I was working with a lot of money "The officer doesn't scare me at all, but you look like you would kill someone and not think twice about it." No one has ever messed with me, and I've been a lot of places and in a lot of dangerous situations. I don't need to carry. I just look at someone and they back off.
