So under that premise, elected offiicials who are gun owners should be prohibited from voting on gun legislation, that parents of straight kids shouldn't be voting on any issue related to childcare or education and no one should be voting on anything having to do with healthcare.

If you are in the GOP, then understand, this Senator is part of your tent. I don't see others in the GOP distancing themselves from this. So when people in this forum say that the GOP is full of racists and white nationalists, while YOU may not be a racist or white nationalist, the others in YOUR party, are, and very openly. So don't be offended or surprised when friends or family distance themselves from you because of your association with... this:
