APS middle school boundary process

I doubt there are many "poors" actually posting. They have neither the time nor the bandwidth to track and respond to a 40+ page thread on a school forum frequented by DC's elite.

I am in group 3 and would gladly allow my currently bused kid to be bused in the other direction to a better school. So there! I will bus my kid! I don't have to be convinced or cajoled.

For what it's worth, I stopped fighting for putting a 4th comprehensive high school at Kenmore when I realized the FARMS percentages would put it at around 40% which I thought would be too high -- so better (I thought) for everyone to crowd into W-L and the Ed Center.

Of course, now my kids are being moved (maybe) to a Kenmore for middle with just that high FARMS rate or higher. I do t really know what to do, fight or not, but I HAVE stood up against ANYONE moving into a too-high FARMS situation in the past.

Meant to say Group 1 (poors) and Group 2 (wealthy whites safe from FARMS) are attacking Group 3 (modestly affluent but not so much so to escape possibility of school with poors). Group 2- the wealthy whites are the worst of all 3 groups as they advocate to sacrifice Group 3’s kids to the poors.

You don’t know what the f#ck you are talking about.
Truly your post is one of the most breathtakingly crap laden examples of low information commentary I have read on this thread.

Judging from your syntax and vocabulary, I guess this comment came from Group 1, the poors!

I won’t even bother trying to educate you. You are a lost cause. Keep at it, skippy. Do tell us more about the “poors”.

It seems that DH and MM residents have chosen poorly. They need to get over the anger/bargaining stage and on to acceptance & hope.

Yes, they do. The group known for manipulating boundaries is already mobilized on social media.

Just acceptance. There is no hope.

No group is better than the others. They are all only interested in their self-interest and would gladly sell any opposing group down the river. Each will claim that they are acting in the best interests of everyone and that their farts are the sweetest smelling on earth. So, rip each other a new one while claiming you are political allies. There's nothing so interesting as watching a one party state disintegrate.

Well, not me b/c I live close enough to W, that I won't be redistricted to S or K. However, I did watch the process unfold during the elementary process and I know how the system works. They were very $ucessful last time.
