Of course it’s not better. It’s even worse, and a clear demonstration that these idiots lack basic intelligence. |
How can it be classified if it's all being blasted out on group chats? |

Waltz falling on his sword sort of. Definitely better than DUI hire Hegseth.
Waltz’s admission contradicts what President Trump has said in his defense of Waltz. Trump claimed that “It was one of Michael’s people on the phone. A staffer had his number on there.” Waltz confirmed the account provided by Goldberg, saying during the interview “Look, a staffer wasn’t responsible. I take full responsibility.” Chris Cameron March 25, 2025, 7:17 p.m. ET46 minutes ago Chris Cameron Michael Waltz, President Trump’s national security adviser, said in an appearance on Fox News that “I take full responsibility” for the sharing of military plans on the messaging app Signal, adding that he had “built the group” and added the journalist Jeffrey Goldberg to it. |
This idea is laughable. Who the heck would hack in and add Goldberg?? A hacker, even from the media (as if they had a clue how to do that … ), would use a burner account. Not something as high-profile as the account of the Editor in Chief of The Atlantic. The reason no one admitted actually adding Goldberg is because they, of course, do not want to take responsibility for their actions. Odds are this administration will sweep the whole thing under the rug by the end of the week. “It’s just something that can happen.” Like Hillary’s emails.

Y’all need to read the news. Waltz said he accidentally added journalist Goldberg. |

Turns out the reporter wasn’t the only unauthorized person on the chat. The chat included an individual who is still waiting to be confirmed by the Senate.

Barack tried so hard, didn’t he? |
| Let’s hope the media doesn’t let this story die out. The American people - and especially our service men and women - deserve stellar leaders, not this reckless band of bumbling wannabes. |
You’re just giving away your desperation with weak comments like that. |

Military are pissed at Hegseth…sucks to work for an incompetent jerk.
The White House confirmed Mr. Goldberg’s account. But Mr. Hegseth later denied that he put war plans in the group chat, which apparently included other senior members of Mr. Trump’s national security team. In disclosing the aircraft, targets and timing for hitting Houthi militia sites in Yemen on the commercial messaging app Signal, Mr. Hegseth risked the lives of American war fighters. Across the military on Monday and Tuesday, current and retired troops and officers expressed dismay and anger in social media posts, secret chat groups and the hallways of the Pentagon. My father was killed in action flying night-trail interdiction over the Ho Chi Minh Trail” after a North Vietnamese strike, said the retired Maj. Gen. Paul D. Eaton, who served in the Iraq war. “And now, you have Hegseth. He has released information that could have directly led to the death of an American fighter pilot.” |
| I love how Trump released a bunch of executive orders today to distract from this and nobody cares. |
I noticed that too. |
