| These days it seems depression and anxiety are affecting a large portion of the population? What do you think is driving this? Has it always been this prevalent? |

The internet and too much contact with people via social media; it's unnatural and sensory overload.
I think that life for the most part was designed for people to only exist for a season. You meet them, they serve their purpose and then they exit. Social media however, has created this unnatural ability for folks to stay in your life indefinitely. Some people who were no longer meant to be a part of your life are still their and it is causing energy flows to be disrupted. |

Always been there my older relatives weren't diagnosed (and the ones still alive still aren't either.) Now, change is faster, there is more pressure, you have to earn more money to survive, and are "supposed" to be accessible 24/7 and respond immediately. I don't do that last thing, because I'm already an anxious wreck so I don't stay connected all the time just to stay sane.
Ad that to 24 hour news channels (I don't watch), easy access to assault weapons, crazy people gunning kids and innocent adults down in schools, at concerts and in churches. It's going to create more anxiety. |
I agree. I wake up every damn day with a stomach ache and check the news to make sure he hasn’t tweeted us into wwiii |

+1. Depressing to think so many were so completely flaccid in terms of cognition and complex thought they fell for his brand of chicanery hook, line, sinker, and pole, and *still* continue to support this national embarrassment who spends his days Tweeting. Tweeting! The President of the United States... |
People have too much prosperity and good fortune |

Comparing themselves to others & feeling inadequate/unsuccessful. Thinking that everything people post on social media is true and factual, and a complete picture.
Essentially, "comparison is the thief of joy." |
