Her birthday is a little far out ( Memorial Day weekend) but I’m trying to plan something big. We met in December and have had a crazy couple of months. Besides the usual first months of dating, I had surgery for appendicitis and had a knee surgery. During those times, she took care of me. I really like her and want to do something big to not only show my feelings for her are very deep, but repay her for everything she has done. I realize most women would have left at that point, but she stuck by my side. We are both early 30’s, love being active, camping, beaches, hiking, etc.

| We will be dating for about 6 months at that pint. |
| Take her to the ritz. Get a club level room. Get her spa appointment. Enjoy the bed. Nice way to relax. |
| A big ring. |
| Diamond earrings |
| You could take her to stay and eat at the Inn at Little Washington for the weekend, and go hiking during the days. |
She wants to get married and have kids soon, that’s why she didn’t bail.
|
| Do you see her as your future? |
Op here. Yes, it’s heading in that direction. |
+1. Buy a ring. |
This is a great idea! Or another trip. I would avoid a ring unless you guys have talked about it. |
| Engagement ring. A big one. |

Stay at a luxury yurt in the blue ridge mountains

Inns and B&Bs are terrible. Everyone can hear you. Do a quick get away to FL. St Regis Bal Harbour |

I would never get engaged to someone I'd only known for six months.
I would appreciate something meaningful rather than something just expensive. If you both like hiking (and your knee is fine) take her hiking somewhere with beautiful views. But I vote think meaningful rather than big. |
