heard as well. pretty big divide between girls on roster. clicky as all hell

When parents were promised equal playing time and that isn’t happening, things are going to get messy for a while. The fall is over and summer will hopefully be different.

So the Capital troll doesn't have much to say on the Fall performance, especially with Blue's record against the 3 top 10 opponents they faced, so now they are having a conversation with themselves on made up issues with internal dynamics. It's Thanksgiving week and still living rent free since July 2024, apparently.

They. Play. To. WIN. The Game!! That is what tournament directors do to place teams in higher Brackets/Pools at tournaments. This should come as no surprise as the players and parents, as we were tod of this .
Stupid troll! And there is no divide according to my DD and some of her teammates. .

Want your DD to play more? Then maybe play better.. now there's a crazy idea...SMH.

Not a sermon... Just a thought.

equal playing time? I am surprised that any team would promise that. A girl who has a ton of talent, works hard, and attends all the practices, should play as much as a mediocre girl who doesn't want to be there an coasts along?

when I was growing up, a coach taught me the difference between "equal playing time" and "fair playing time."

You can be surprised all you want about equal playing, but that is how capital has done it for ever.

Since this is all anonymous, how many views are your girls getting after President’s Cup?

But they are not doing it anymore and I get why. They need to compete in higher brackets to keep recruiting up. Other top clubs are truly 50/50 but that is because they are deeper. Capital Blue and Orange are both doing better playing their better players more but I get the frustration of parents whose kids are not seeing the field as much.

New activity was primarily during tournaments. I would say that Chesapeake and Continental were most active (tens and twenties), then Mid-Atlantic and Presidents Cup. Big dip on Sunday at President's Cup.

Not sure there is any rhyme or reason. Each school does it differently. We've been told some programs will view during a game to send a positive signal in some cases, while others are just taking notes. Some coaches prefer to go on anonymously and view without logging in.

Our club was called with early interest for our 26 from a school that never looked at her profile or watched a video. Lots of stories of girls committing to schools they had no idea were interested prior to September 1st of their Junior year. On the other hand, one top program, and one D3 school, have each viewed our 28's profile a dozen times. Who knows? From our experience and cautionary tales from others, it's probably best to not read too much into anything at this point.

On the highlight video views, I'm thinking a lot of the anonymous views are other kids, and maybe clubs scouting, with some coaches viewing without logging in again.

How many have had coaches (lacrosse teams pages) follow their instagram? We’ve had 1 D1 follow.

They had a change in policy and parents and players were told of this before Fall season started. If a parent was not happy about it- then they could have left Capital then. . If the parent and player are not happy, then go join another club.
At the end of the day, Capital has gotten with the times and there is more focus on winning games apparently. What's wrong with that?

This is fake news. There was no change in policy.
