To be fair, you are comparing very different contexts. NFL and NBA players make a big deal out of dressing up for their walk to the game and the clothes are always pretty flamboyant (I found a fun commentator on TikTok because I love the fashion!). In other photos, he's much more casual or "normal" because of the setting.

And Taylor Swift comes from an upper middle class family in America where her parents had decent college educations but not the top 10 elite university experience. She does not have a college degree herself and was educated in suburban public schools before making it in music. But like Travis Kelce, they are excelling in their chosen careers and making a killing. Perhaps she actually fits in better with the Kelce clan rather than the Alwyn clan.

Not in terms of looks (I will say though Joe exemplifies "dreamy" like no other man) but definitely in terms of intellect. She can do so much better but I think she has realized that it's hard to find someone who can align with her lifestyle so she decided to settle.

But Travis is lowering her standards. Inferior to Jake, Joe and Matty in terms of looks, intellect and artistic abilities, qualities Taylor seems to have been drawn to all her life.

Not in terms of looks (I will say though Joe exemplifies "dreamy" like no other man) but definitely in terms of intellect. She can do so much better but I think she has realized that it's hard to find someone who can align with her lifestyle so she decided to settle.

I'm sorry, but Joe is not dreamy by any sense of the word. I'm glad she had her time with him, they seem to have parted on decent terms, but no way is he a step up from her current relationship. He was a scaredy cat spineless weasel in my opinion.

What did Travis do deserve any of the treatment on this board? I was not a huge Swiftie until this album, but even as a casual observer I found him to be utterly spineless. He's not reading this board. It's OK. He doesn't need to impress me in any regard. It's just my opinion.

What about Joe Alwyn suggests he has some great intellect or artistic ability? His experience at a yogurt shop?

I am so confused by why Joe Alwyn is seen as some Pultizer Prize winning intellect or artist. He is a D list actor who did not have the self-confidence to maturely manage his girlfriend's success and fame. He also allegedly struggles from mental health issues.
