I'm thinking WalMart, but then, I have never been to Kohl's or Sears for clothing. I know Target is more $ than Walmart.
Kmart? (* I am not interested in eBay, consignment, Craigslist, etc. because my needs include underwear and socks.) Thanks! |
| first one I would go to, with that criteria, is kohls. Then Target. Then probably Marshalls, Ross, TJ Maxx or Nordstrom Rack. |
| Target not that much more than Walmart or Kmart but much better quality so its last. Its cheaper to buy fewer things and be able to wash and wear more often. Leesburg carter's outlet when the stuff is on sale. Sears/landends is actually pricey but if you go to the overstocks tab on the website it is cheaper. |
| kohls clearance is pretty good but I am a lover of TJMaxx and Marshalls...love love love...you can get much better quality than walmart and better styles |
| Check out JC Penney online. They have some stylish stuff at very reasonable prices. |

I hate WalMart, but I have to admit they have pretty good quality, cheap clothes. That said, I love Target so I usually go there, and the quality is usually much higher than I'd expect for the prices.
Marshalls is TERRIFIC for cheap nice clothes - brand names and for girls, fancy dresses. |
| If it's kids clothing, I would go with Old Navy. Great quality stuff, they have sales ALL the time and, with the sales prices, you can get as many items as walmart, but with a way better quality. |
| Loehmann's or TJ Maxx |
| Costco? |

Okay, I have TONS of baby clothes that I want to give to a family that wants them. I am too busy with work to think about consigning them or doing eBay. I also have lots of clothes from my bigger days (10-12) that I need to get rid off. (Don't know your size, but they can be altered.)
Not sure how comfortable you are with sharing your email address here, but if so, these clothes are yours. |
| H&M for kids |
| love target. also old navy. very good for little boys. |
Womens' shelters/domestic abuse shelters are great places to donate clothes for mothers AND their children. Many have fled their abusive home without anything - no extra clothes, etc. |
| Kohls. And, Old Navy |
| Value Village thrift off New Hampshire, hands town. Also for toys (especially the large, plastic, ride-on variety). |
