We tried to arrange a trip there last year, and were surprised by how far in advance every booked, and that there didn't seem to be any good deals (airfare or otherwise). Hopefully you've already booked accommodations.

In September 2015, we bought round trip tickets from DCA to Jackson Hole for $273.20 round trip per person for the last week in August 2016.

Flights to Jackson Hole can be very expensive. Consider flying into Salt Lake City and driving to Jackson. It's about a 4hr drive but very scenic.

Hmmm. I bought my tix to Banff for this summer backin November. There might be deals you never know. Did you hook lidging yet?

Bozeman was $1k cheaper than Jackson for us when we booked it back in November.

We go to ski and try to book 3-4 months in advance and that’s the low season. Agree with a pp to look into SLC as an alternative if needed.

Isn’t that into Calgary though? Much cheaper than going into a small airport like Jackson. We’ve sometimes gone to Banff to ski because the airfare is so much less than Jackson.

^^^ok, I guess not technically impossible, but still, did you book the day the schedule was released? I’ve found the early rates to be higher than if you wait a bit.

If you want to use FFM, that is the best time.

I bought my flights to Bozeman for August in September. I fly home from Denver.
$282/pp

Now flying to Bozeman is like $200-300 and home from Jackson is $500.

I have another person flying with us, not initially on our first reservation and I'm hurting.

We did this trip last year, booked flights in March, and used Southwest into SLC. For a family of five this was much cheaper than Jackson Hole or even Bozeman or ID Falls.
