DH e-mails

Should you have access to all of your DH's e-mail accounts? or is that crazy?

Nothing happened but I noted that he didn't want to open his e-mail account while looking with him on his computer and now feel suspicious...

People are different but that would I dunno, prickle the hairs on my neck. Nothing that serious but I'd notice.

DH and I essentially have full access to one another's emails. We both know each other's phone password, mine doesn't even have one, and we regularly have one or the other of our email logged in on the home computer. But we never go through the other person's email or snoop. I dunno, its like, the transparency exists so the privacy does too in a weird way.

Kinda, I could go look but I usually don't. He takes care of all the computer stuff and passwords. I cannot remember mine let alone his. I cannot imagine mine cheating on me given he never would have time. Work stuff no, personal is fine to look.

Does he ever buy you things? Send you flowers? Have a birthday coming up? I have access to my boyfriend's email and have spoiled many a gift for myself that way.

Crazy.

I have nothing to hide, but I HATE people reading over my shoulder. If you tried to read one of my emails while you sat next to me, I would be livid.

+1

I also think people who insist on unrestricted access to each other’s phones are excessive, but if it works for them, I guess that’s good. DH and I choose to maintain some privacy and boundaries.

Together almost 15 years, no need for each other’s emails or phone passwords. If they’re having an affair, they’ll just find another way.

I did have to ask him to change the handoff setting on his Apple device this week as I ended up with porn her was looking at. Oh well.

I don't look at my husband's phone period. He has access to all my sites, mail, passwords. Doesn't bother me at all.
Anonymous
Why? I can barely keep up with my own. What’s the point of reading his?

First of all, my work emails are off limits. Particularly those on the classified systems. Other than work, she knows the password to my iPad (I think), and could read it any time. She does not.

I have access to hers, but both of our emails are way to boring to be of interest.

I mean, I guess I COULD access them. But why would I?

Aww. True love. :^)

I've been married 21 years neither of us has access to the other's emails. Personal space isn't just a physical thing.
