When I woke up this morning, I saw I had a missed call from 2:29 a.m. I do not recognize the number. The person left me a voicemail - it sounded like an elderly lady. Speaking haltingly, she just said, “Lock (a bit of a pause here) the dead bolt.” Should I be worried? Should I call the number back? Do you think the person mis dialed my number or is someone warning me about something?

| Creepy! |

Are you currently filming a campy teen slasher flick?
No? Then, Old people gonna old. It’s a wrong number. |
| That is very creepy. |
| Sounds like a prank call to me. 13 year olds will be 13 years olds, even in the age of caller ID. |
| Did you google the number? Totally creepy! |
| If no one came in during the night, it was a wrong number. If someone did, remember that serial killers always go to the kitchen first to make a sandwich. |
| I would totally call to check if she was OK! |
Which is precisely why I hide the bread and miracle whip. |

I will do that. I kind of want to call her back to make sure it was a wrong dial and not a warning. |
| Call it back it’s morning now |
| Call back and breathe heavily into the phone. Or post the number, and i’ll do it for you. |
| Google the phone number. |
If you are a believer in numbers holding meaning (angel messages), 229 is a good thing. It represents a new, positive direction and asks you to trust your intuition.
But yeah. That's creepy. I might call and say you missed a call from this number. |
