Should we go to Epcot or Hollywood Studios?

Kids are PreK and 1st. Boys.

Thank you.

I vote Hollywood studios for your boys.

But I love Epcot personally

Epcot

When are you going? Do your kids like Star Wars? I'd only go to HS in the next few months if your kids like Star Wars. A new Pixar-focused land opens this summer, so once that's open the comparison changes. Then again, EP is also currently lowest on my list of Disney parks, so I might consider more time at AK rather than EP or HS (if you're not into the Star Wars stuff at HS). Also depends if this is a decision purely based on the kids or the adults' interests as well, and whether you will have the park hopper option.

Thank you. WE do not have a park hopper, and they don't care about star wars. I've heard from more than a few people at AK is their least favorite park.

We thought HS was sort of a waste. If they're not Star Wars fans I'd do Epcot.

Tough. I guess Epcot, but HS has the toy story ride which is awesome

It just depends on what you're interested in. There's very little at EP that interests my 8 yo boy. Maybe Test Track and Mission Space. On our upcoming visit we have no set plans to visit EP but may drop by for the afternoon (but only because we were already getting hoppers). At AK, there's a ton he wants to do: Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl (thank goodness he's old enough I don't have to suffer through that one myself), and then all the animal exhibits and the safari. And there's a big play area for younger kids. I'd easily rank AK ahead of HS and EP right now, but ymmv. My kid is not into meeting characters and doesn't usually want to watch stage shows - that's probably part of it.

As an adult I do like wandering around EP World Showcase, especially during the various festivals.

Epcot

My 4 and 8 year old boys loved it. Plus the food is really exciting there.

Such a range of answers. I guess my kids will either love it or hate it!

Go through the attraction lists for each park. You know your kids, I'm betting the right park for them will be clear.

I agree with the poster above completely. I personally love Epcot especially the food festivals, my kids are less interested. We are DVC members who go to Disney every other year, but this year we skipped Epcot altogether (we didn't go at festival time). I do hear that a lot of people dislike AK, but my kids adore the park for all the attractions listed above, plus they could see the Lion King show a million times and never get bored by it.

We skipped HS and went to Epcot with my 6 and 8 year old boys. They really liked test track and mission space, though I’m not sure if those would appeal as much to a preschooler.

AK was our favorite park.

Your kids won't remember which park you go to, or might vaguely recall parts of it, 5 years from now. Go to the park you would enjoy most. For me personally, my favorite parks are Animal Kingdom and Epcot. My children have enjoyed all of them.

Don’t forget Soarin at Epcot, its pretty wonderful. Our favorite parks are AK and Epcot.
