What if your spouse's AP were a different race than you?

Would that make it any worse for you? I know, for some people, that this is a real sore spot. Like, to be frank, often for white men and women of color. Before you ask, I'm just asking because I'm bored.

That would be the least of my concerns.

Why would it make a difference? Cheating is cheating. It's devastating no mattwr what.

I would be surprised, because my husband (and I) are both not attracted to black people.

My ex on the other hand? He had a thing for Asian and Latina women so it wouldn’t have surprised me.

DH and I are both white.

So personal attraction aligns you with a political affiliation?

Because, for instance, if a successful black man leaves a black women, it's assumed it would be for a white woman. That is a really touchy subject that's fraught with insecurities and pain.

When you determine attractiveness by skin color, it fits his followers. I'm white. I find Halle Berry very attractive, pretty much irresistible. Whoopi Goldberg does nothing for me. Diane Lane is spectacular. Sandra Burnhardt - I'd rather perform self-castration than sleep with her.

At a very primal level, sometimes people of different race smell different to me - not bad, just different. Maybe it’s dietary. Sometimes people of MY race smell bad to me. However, scent does impact how attractive a person is to me.

It's odd to say you arent attracted to ANY people of a certain race in the whole world. The variety of looks among Black people is enoormous- saying you would never be attracted to any of them is about more than a physical preference.

Honestly it would be worse if they were the same race (southeast Asian), because then there would be a more likely chance he would want to be with that person instead of just F them.

Any white guy would be more angry if found his wife banged a black guy. That even might hold for Asian/Hispanic guys too (would be angry about a black guy).

It would be worse if it were the same ethnic/racial mix because I probably know the person, haha, and it would be creepy...
