Think of the resources expended trying to save these people — just the dead covid deniers and anti-vaxers named in this thread. Add to that all the ones who don’t have enough notoriety to have been reported publicly. Now add all the people who couldn’t get vaccinated and got infected by all of those people. It’s staggering. |
Even if I*m does have some efficacy, it's supposed to be taken BEFORE they symptom gets worse. Once the person is hospitalized, ie, seriously ill, I*m has no impact. He waited too long. Was he vaccinated? |
There's no evidence that it matters when a person takes the iverm**. The basis for that "take before" recommendation was that the petri dish where one of the in vitro experiments was conducted had been treated with iverm** prior to introducing the culture with the virus. But that experiment provided no real basis for recommending a course of treatment one way or another. The dosage in that experiment was like 1,000 - 10,000 times what you'd give a human. And it involved the iverm** and virus culture sitting in a petri dish for like 3 days. Those conditions don't really translate to what's going on when the iverm** and COVID are interacting inside a human body. |
Being in good shape doesn't 100% guarantee survival either though. The best thing we have is the vaccine. |
You're not going to exercise your way out of a viral health risk. This isn't some morality play where good people live and bad people die. |
But in a way, it is. Most of the people dying now are those who refused the moral duty to protect themselves and their community by getting vaccinated. Interesting. |
It's mainly the vaccinated surviving and the anti-vaxxers dying. |
Here's a collection of people who mocked mask wearing and the vaccine on social media, but are now either dead or begging for their lives. https://www.reddit.com/r/HermanCainAward/ |
Volusia County councilman Fred Lowry is hospitalized with Covid. He's also a preacher - of course - and this summer he was preaching the pandemic is fake and he called Fauci "Dr. Falsey."
