Now, it's come full circle. People seem surprised that Kane is actually an asshole, and I'm just like...did none of you know that a decade ago?

I think I started listening in 2006 or perhaps 2007, by the time I tuned in yeah he was definitely always talking about being a family man.

You are so right. That’s why he’s #1 in the ratings and all the sponsors want Kane Show to talk about them. No offense but you really seem nasty.

He's number 1 in the ratings because most people are morons. But he's still an insecure chubbo with mental health and substance abuse issues who hates women. Some people like to listen to simpletons who do corny fake bits. That's okay. Different strokes.

Umm, Kane wasn’t the one who lost custody or sent to rehab for substance abuse issues.

For years I loved the show cause I thought he was a genuinely good person but then I had to stop listening because he started to remind me too much of those guys that call themselves “nice guys” but when you turn them down switch to instantly calling you a b*tch or ugly, etc and get aggressively mad.

omg this. he's soooooo that guy. if anyone listened in his tampa days esp he loved to talk about fat chicks, ugly chicks, etc. Kinda hilarious when you take a look at him.

I said this in a thread a while ago about Kane. I knew he was a d&ck when he mocked Sami for not eating pork and literally on air made Sarah repeat something in the voice he wanted. It was something Monday or something Wednesday. I stopped listening when Sarah left. It was a segment of crazy stories. Sarah said it once and he literally made her do it again told her it was the wrong voice. So embarassing

I currently work in the radio biz so I guess I'll put in some of my insight

- Kane make a SHIT ton of money, not Elvis or Seacrest money but still. From the show alone he probably makes a lot since they signed that deal with Premiere a few years ago and they're syndicated. Also his Club Kane show, which is also syndicated, and his endorsements. You can make a lot from endorsements, even no name radio people can make some money with those.
- 97.1 WASH has been and still is rated higher than Hot.
- Kane might be the #1 morning show in CHR but that just means that the right people are listening. If you don't have a meter in your car, you don't really matter. Gotta ask yourself, how many people in the DC area has meters in their car and how many of them are listening to Kane?
- As for the women's role in the show. Every morning show you play a character. You don't wanna play that character?That's fine. There's 50 other people waiting for you to fail so they can take your spot. I don't personally know Rose or Riley so idk what they're true personalities are but they're probably both happy they still have jobs, for the time being. Who knows what's gonna happen to iHeart in a few months.
