#1 is a ridiculous statement. SJC doesn't always have top local teams on their schedule, especially not IAC teams. This fact negates the first statement. Last year the only IAC team they played was Bullis and they only won by one point in (10-9). Prep beat Bullis twice, 18-2 in first game and 14-5 in second game. Prep was the top team in 2023 and would have undoubtedly beat SJC. This coming year SJC will no longer have their top FOGO and goalie. They will be down and likely lose to Gonzaga if Gonzaga can stay on track and disciplined. Further proof, SJC has 9 commits, while Gonzaga has 13. Gonzaga should be the better team unless coaching and captains (leaders) fail the team.

Are you new here? The IAC babies refuse to play St. John’s because they are mad that they recruited some players they thought they would get. Prep decided to play teams like Ryken last year instead. Ducking local teams doesn’t make you the best in the DMV.

Gonzaga will have a strong team if they don’t do any racist stuff or go destroy some other schools property. They will get a chance to prove they are the best in the DMV by playing the best. According to IL that game is May 3rd. Should be a great game.

Prep people always want to compare the Bullis score with St. John’s but they don’t want to compare the Gonzaga score. Almost the same result and the Gonzaga/SJC game was played in a tsunami. Bottom line is prep was scared to play because they knew they got whipped the last time they played St. John’s.

Who's to say SJC wouldn't play Prep. SJC boosters always tell the same story and always have the same tired line. 🙄 Every poll, nationally and local, had Prep ranked higher than SJC, every single one. Get over yourself and stop lying. It's embarrassing.

SJC beat Gonzaga by one point, Prep beat Gonzaga by 2. That's more, that's actually twice as many. If you want to compare more scores. Prep beat DeMatha by 9 (14-5). SJC college only beat them by three (7-4). Sit down SJC booster.

so the only "local" out of conference game the Cadets are playing this Spring is Boys Latin (I wouldn't even consider BL a local team since they are in Baltimore)

Has Wes and Garrett pissed really pissed off area HS coaching staffs? (, no Saint Mary's or McDonogh or Calvert Hall, Bullis, Landon or Prep)

If you can play teams like St. Anthony’s, Taft, Hill Academy and Culver out of conference why play weaker teams. Out of conference games are played to get ready to win what matters. You conference.

St. Johns is loaded with young talent. Talent that the Preps of the world thought they were getting. Should be fun to watch.

The WCAC isn't even a good lacrosse league. MIAA and IAC are strong lax leagues, not WCAC.
