Hanging diplomas

I'm debating whether or not to hang our diplomas in our office area, which is open to the rest of the house (not a separate room--I turned it into a playroom). I SAH and my husband doesn't work out of an office so our degrees have just been sitting in a box. Am I over thinking this? Would you hang them up?

I think my parents have all my diplomas from high school through grad school. My husband definitely does not have ours in the house either.

Personally, I think anyone outside a dr. or therapist who I believe are required to show their diplomas in their place of business, should not hang their diplomas. What's the point? I think hanging pictures of your kids is a better use of that space!

Now, when your kids earn diplomas, hang them up because all parents brag about their kids!

You worked hard for that diploma! If you want to hang it up, then do so.

DH and I are very proud of our degrees since we worked hard at them and paid for them! We have them hanging in our home office/sewing/craft room which I do work out of 2 days a week. Most of our friends have their hung up as well.

We have our undergraduate diplomas hanging in our office/playroom and my graduate diploma as well. We both had them framed immediately upon receiving the degrees and were (I think) rightly proud of our accomplishments. Most of our friends also have framed (and hung) diplomas in their homes, although few take them to the office. I think that is more rightly reserved for M.D. and Ph.D. type degrees.

Knew a doctor who hung every diploma she received in her office. I don't know if the pre-college ones were from prestigious schools but it was kind of weird because some of them dated back to before WWII. But I think hanging the college and grad school ones would be okay.

I think a home office area is a natural place to put up diplomas - hanging them in the living room would be a little odd, but why not have them in your office?

My Pedicurist has all her licenses hanging too. I think you should to it too. Looks very cool. While they speak away I get my privacy reading those papers on the wall.

My ivy league diploma is rolled up in its original tube somewhere. i thought about framing it years ago but never got around to it and now it seems pretty irrelevant.
