| UGH. She’s so bad about changing her pads. I am sick and tired of scrubbing blood out of her underwear. Anyone BTDT? |
| Wow 10 is so young! I'm not surprised she isn't mature about it, she got it incredibly early. |
| Get her that Thinx underwear, and those Always flex foam pads (look for Flex Foam on the box). Also, just wash it in cold water, with some Shout directly sprayed on the stains. You shouldn't need to scrub at all. |
What? 10 is very normal. On the early end of very normal, yes, but not “incredibly early.” |
+1 10 is definitely not in the very early category. |
| 10 is very young. Cut her some slack and work with her. |
10 is an outlier. Sorry. |
Have you tried thicker pads? A period is once a month. Just get dark colored underwear that don’t show the stains as much. |
| 10 is old enough to do her own laundry. |

10 year olds should still be playing Polly pockets and Barbies, not getting ready to birth babies. American Girl dolls?
10 is incredibly early, poor thing. |
It's really not, but continue to think as you please. |
| What percentage of girls start at 10 or younger? |
| I was eleven when I started. I’d been doing my own laundry for a couple of years at that point. If she stains them, she needs to be the one to clean them; that’s not a punishment, it’s just learning to take care of her personal needs. I agree with the darker undies as well. |

Why are you scrubbing? Just tell her to designate some of her underwear as "period panties" and she will only wear those during her period, and no big deal if they get stains.
Also, why are you scrubbing? Just hold it under cold running water and the blood flows right off. Which is something she should be doing not you. |
