Degrees that pay well with just a Bachelors

Anonymous
Unlike most in DCUM land, I hope my kid is able to graduate college with a degree in a field that is well paying enough that it makes grad school unnecessary. What degrees are best for this outcome? Would prefer non-stem suggestions.

OP asked for non-STEM recommendations. OP, can you tell us more about your DC's interests and strengths?

Teaching pays well? Maybe after 20 years.

These are all STEM fields. Undergrad Econ. degree not likely to be sufficient.

Most public school districts REQUIRE a Master's degree after a certain number of years.

back in finance + CPA has served me well. 2004 was my first year working and made 64k. I now hover around 300 but could work more and make more if needed.

Eh, I had an undergrad ECON degree and was still getting starting offers in the $50k-55k range in the Midwest. I decided to go to grad school but I’m not sure it made much of a difference. This was back in the mid 00s. There’s some math associated with undergraduate economics but nothing close to what’s required in grad school.

Not Many OP. These days an undergrad degree is barely enough to get a job let alone a well paying one.

Last I checked they don't get paid well anyways. Strange that the PP put it on their list.
