Dating Profile...Question for Women!

Anonymous
What makes a mans profile stand out from the rest? What do you want to know about him? What's important and what's not? What kind of pics do you like to see (obviously not the half naked bathroom mirror selfie)? Just looking to improve my online presence. Thanks for any input!

Something about you that sets you apart. Most people like movies, music, baseball, etc. What is special about you?

When I was online dating (met my husband online) I had a few do’s and don’ts

Do say what you do for a living. No need to say how much you make but if I am going to be honest, I am not dating a pop eyes deep fryer.

Do say what you do for fun. Great way to connect with the person if you share common interest.

Do state what you seek. Just a good time? Something serious?

Do not post pictures of your children or friends. They did not ask to be on an online dating profile.

Do not state that you aren’t interested in women of color or bbw, even if it is true. Just skip their message.

I want to know what make you unusual. I'd rather see a less perfect photo that represents a place or activity that's interesting to you. Personally, I don't date people who express a racial or body type preference in their profile.

No shirtless photos, please. Even if you are super buff and fit, it is a put off because it makes you look conceited.

Don't make excuses for your life situation, blame your parents or ex or go into a long story about your health.

I am not a woman but, don't be boring like 99% of other mens profile.
I read a friends that couldnt figure out why no one was responding to him, it read like Oprah or someones grandmother wrote. Long walks, sunset , no crap he worked that in the two paragraphs of written Ambien. "I like gourmet coffee as it brews creates an aroma that makes dark chocolate scream my name from the kitchen cabinet". Boring.

I'm a reader (as are lots of my friends) so if you read, name a few of the last books you read or are reading.

I definitely want to know your general political stance - I'm unlikely to date someone who voted for Trump, and it's best if we weed each other out early.

What do you do with your free time?

What you do for work says something about your interests, your journey. Don't assume we only want to know what it is to hint at salary.

Maybe I should be reading online dating profiles for entertainment and laughs?
